AE Dupondius, 12.90g.  28.5mm.   Lugdunum mint, c.67 A.D. IMP NERO CAESAR AVG P MAX TR P P P.  Laureate head of Nero to left with globe at tip of bust.  Rev. SECVRITAS AVGVSTI S C.   Securitas seated to left holding scepter; altar to right.   RIC 597. BMC 347.  BN 196.  NAC 144(Cope collectin), lot 1041(same obv. die).  Attractive reddish-brown patina and with an exceptionally sharp portrait.
