Macedonian Kings, Philip II, 359-336 B.C.

AR Tetradrachm, 14.39g. 23 x 26mm. Pella mint, struck c.323-315 B.C. Laureate head of Zeus to right. Rev. Nude jockey riding horse to right holding a long laurel branch in his right hand and the reins in his left hand; serpent below; Boeotian shield in exergue.  LeRider, Pella, Group III,  pl. 22, 530.  Lovely iridescent toning and virtually as struck.
