AE 15, 2.13g. c.138-192 A.D. Draped bust of King Midas to right wearing a Phrygian cap; Greek legend, "MIDAS". Rev. River-god reclining to right holding reed and resting arm on an overturned amphora. von Aulock, Münzen und Städte Phrgyia II, 858ff. RPC on line IV.2,1919. SNG COP 659. This is a very rare denomination and type for the Midas coinage of Prymnessos. RPC on-line lists 12 examples, but all are in museums. Dark brown patina.
