AR Hemidrachm, 2.94g. 12x16mm. c.470-460 B.C. Forepart of house emerging from a rock to right; "lambda" (?) on horse's torso.  Rev. Wheat grain within incuse.    SNG COP 236var.  The horse emerging from a rock probably represents Skyphios, the first Thessalian horse and the father of all horses created by Poseidon.
