AR 1/3 Stater, 3.27g. 14mm. Evagoras I , c.411-373 B.C. Herakles seated to right on a rock draped with lion's skin; he holds club and large conrnucopia; Cypriote inscription for "Evagoras" around. Rev. Goat recumbant to right; Cypriot inscription, "King" and delta. Demeester 147(this coin) BMC 57. Attractive old collection toning and an impressive pedigree.
