Heraclius, 610-641 A.D.

AE Follis, 10.89g. 27mm.  Seleucia Isauriae mint, dated year 7= 616/617 A.D. Overstruck on a follis of Antioch for Focas, Sear 671.   Heraclius( on left) and Heraclius Constantine(on right) standing and facing; each wears chlamys and crown with cross and holds globus crucier.  Rev.  Large M; date; officina B,  and SELIS in exergue.  DO 181b.  MIB 193. Sear 845. Unusually sharp for this type and with an interesting overstrike.
