AR Denarius, 3.59g. 19mm.   Draped bust of Vulcan to right wearing laureate cap; tongs and star behind; all within wreath.   Rev. L COT. Eagle standing to left on a thunderbolt; all within wreath. CR 314/1a. RBW 1163.  This is an extremely rare variety without control marks.  Crawford notes only one die pair for this issue.  Toned.
