The portrait is struck in very high relief and with unusually good centering; attractive light toning.

Exceptional quality for this scarce issue and with a particularly clear head of Hadrian on the reverse which is struck in high relief. Normally the emperor holds a small scroll in his left hand, but that is not shown on this die.
