AR Tetradrachm, 17.23g, 23.5mm. c.480-475 B.C. Charioteer driving quadriga to right; flying nike crowning the lead horse. Rev. Diademed head of Arethusa to right with long plaited hair and wearing a broad headband; ethnic inscription and four dolphins around. Boehringer 218(dies). Boston 350(rev. die). Hirsch 16, Dec. 6, 1906, 261(dies). Attractive old collection toning and a lovely early style Arethusa head.
