AR Denarius, 3.95g. 21mm. M FOVRI L F. Janus. Rev. ROMA PHILI. Roma crowning a trophy surmounted by a boar's head; carnyx and shield on either side. ; star above. CR 281/1. Syd. 529. Lovely iridescent toning and on an unusually full flan with the complete type visible.
This type commemorates the just completed victories in 120 over the Gallic tribes of the Allobroges and the Averni.
