Ancient Coins: GREEK GOLD and ELECTRUM: Macedonian Kings, Demetrios Poliorketes, 306-283

AV Stater, 8.57g. 19mm.  Pella mint, c.293-292 B.C. Helmeted head of Athena to right.  Rev. Nike standing to left holding wreath and stylis; monograms below.  Newell 71.  small scrape over Athena's ear.   Very rare with the name of Demetrios instead of the usual Alexander.
